If Cesari is a restaurant where you can enjoy a course meal in a trattoria atmosphere, Solo Pizza Napoletana is a self-service system where you can enjoy pizza easily, like at a hamburger shop, and by keeping labor costs down, they are able to offer pizza at reasonable prices. The cheapest pizza is,Marinara350 yen! This is the place. They airfreight ingredients from Italy, and the authentic pizzas made by amazing pizza chefs are available at this price! Its excellent cost performance has made it an incredibly popular restaurant, with long lines forming every day. However, being in my 40s and lacking the energy to stand in a long line (lol), I headed to the neighboring Cesari's, where I could get in relatively easily♪

To ensure that many customers can enjoy their experience, a waiting area is provided inside the restaurant, and the walls are covered with paintings of Naples, allowing you to experience the lively atmosphere of an authentic Italian pizzeria!

With an open kitchen and a spacious atmosphere, this restaurant boasts two wood-fired ovens, allowing you to enjoy every step of the pizza-making process. The first floor has a generous 60 seats and is always bustling with activity!

The way they carefully rotate and stretch each piece of dough, and the way they add the toppings and place it in the wood-fired oven, their efficient and dynamic movements are captivating and could be watched forever without getting bored!

This time, we'll be dining in the space on the second floor, which can also be used as a party room. Including the extension at the back, it's a spacious area that can comfortably accommodate around 70 seats. On weekdays,Business Lunch CourseFrom 1,000 yenYes, but on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays,Cesari's standard lunch course (assortment of appetizers + your choice of pizza)(or your choice of pasta + dessert + drink) 1,500 yenSince that was the only option available, I ordered that!

Some of the day's recommended dishes may incur an extra charge, but you can choose from the menu board!

"Assortment of appetizers" (4 kinds, including soup)

This appetizer plate features four items: minestrone soup, a salad with Parma ham, yellowtail carpaccio, and fried bread with cheese and ham in a tomato sauce. The appetizers are just the right size, the vegetables are from their own garden and bursting with flavor, and considering the high quality of the ingredients, this is definitely great value for money!

"Pizza Napoletana Margherita Classica"

The Margherita pizza, said to have been created in 1889 for Queen Margherita and named after her because she loved it so much, is a classic Neapolitan pizza made with tomato sauce, fior di latte, basil, and extra virgin olive oil. One of the characteristics of Neapolitan pizza is its thick, chewy crust (cornicione). Although it's 27cm in size, the dough is light, so you can easily finish it in one go!

"Spaghetti with fish ragu bianco"

The spaghetti with ragu of various seafood, including octopus and white fish, reminded me of the taste of the pasta I had at a bacaro (traditional Italian bar) in Venice, Italy. It's a wonderfully rustic, home-style pasta dish!

For dessert, you can choose your favorite from these nine options. From left to right, clockwise, they are: oven-baked pudding, a savarin-like cake with rum, chocolate and almond cake, meringue cake, white chocolate and almond powder cake, chocolate and custard cake, ricotta cheesecake, fruit tart, and lemon cream puff pastry. They explained each one to me!

"Oven-baked pudding"

The oven-baked pudding, generously topped with slightly bitter caramel sauce, has an unexpectedly smooth texture and is wonderfully moist. The sweetness isn't overwhelming, and it's absolutely delicious!

"Zuppa Inglese"

Because it uses a lot of syrup, like soup."British soup"This Italian pastry is named after the meaning of [the meaning of the pastry].”"Zuppa"”What is”"Thinly sliced bread that has been soaked"”It means that the sponge cake is soaked in syrup that it's truly worthy of the description, but it's not cloying and has a very pleasant flavor. The crispness of the meringue on top is also a big plus, making it a well-balanced cake♪

"coffee"

I was surprised by the dessert, but even the coffee was delicious! I'm truly amazed that they can offer this level of quality for a 1,500 yen course. Popular restaurants with long lines really do have a different approach!
