"Okonomiyaki Kokoro": A crispy new texture thanks to the tempura batter! The inside is fluffy and moist, and the spring cabbage is sweet!

Along the street in Sumiyoshi, near Seirei Hamamatsu Hospital, there's a shop with a noren (traditional Japanese curtain) displaying the three hiragana characters "Kokoro". It opened in April 2007 and is celebrating its 8th anniversary this year, 2015. Since coming to Hamamatsu, "Kokoro-san" has become my go-to place for okonomiyaki...
