Nestled in the lush forests of Ise-Shima National ParkNEMU RESORTThe sunset at Forest Villa DOG offers a special experience, different from dinner enjoyed at a hotel restaurant.

This time, since we wanted to spend time with our beloved dog, Chocolat, without any worries, we decided to have dinner on the villa's terrace. We brought our own ingredients and enjoyed cooking in the villa, but of course, NEMU RESORT also offers dinner plans exclusively for Forest Villa guests.NEMU Style GrillThis is a barbecue dinner enjoyed on the terrace attached to the villa. It's a luxurious resort experience featuring plenty of seasonal ingredients unique to Mie Prefecture, including spiny lobster, abalone, and Ise chicken. One of its charms is being able to enjoy a meal slowly in a private space while watching the forest scenery change from dusk to night. Reservations for this menu must be made by 6 PM the day before, and the price is 12,100 yen per person. In case of bad weather, it will be changed to a Japanese course meal at the main building's "Restaurant Satoumi," so you can enjoy it regardless of the weather.

It's a hotel, yet it offers the freedom of staying in a private villa. You can bring a tabletop induction cooktop and "BALMUDA"The toaster, and my favorite wooden tableware"Shimoo DesignThe "Floating Series" and "CutipolWe brought our own cutlery and seasonings and started cooking before dusk! We had prepared the tea-smoked duck by marinating it overnight in tea leaves and spices at home. We brought the tea-smoked duck back to room temperature and seared the skin side until fragrant in an induction-compatible frying pan, then served it with green asparagus and brown mushrooms.

Large supermarkets such as Aeon and MaxValu are located about 10 minutes by car from "NEMU RESORT," so you won't have any trouble buying groceries. Even if you're staying for multiple nights, being able to plan your menu according to your mood each day is one of the joys of bringing your own food and drinks.

Reheat the "Four Kinds of Indulgent Pizza" in a BALMUDA toaster until crispy and fragrant, enjoying the delicious taste of freshly made, piping hot pizza.

The tea-smoked duck, with its surface nicely browned, is then slowly cooked in a Staub pot, with the internal temperature being monitored as it cooks.

Simply arrange them on a table, and you've opened your own small private restaurant.

For our toast, we chose "Paul Chenaud Blanc de Blancs Cava Brut Reserva Gaudí Edition," a Spanish cava. This easy-to-enjoy dry sparkling wine, enjoyed with the fresh forest air after the rain, made our evening on this trip even more special.

"Roasted tea-smoked duck with asparagus and mushrooms"
When I sliced the smoked duck, a beautiful rosy cross-section was revealed, indicating it was perfectly cooked. Although I cut it into thick slices, the meat was moist and tender, and the fragrant flavor of the duck burst forth, bringing a smile to my face. It was a simple dish, yet it was incredibly satisfying, something you wouldn't expect to find on a trip.

"Prosciutto and colorful vegetable salad"
The salad is simply dressed with olive oil, allowing the saltiness of the prosciutto to shine through, and featuring plenty of baby greens, sprouts, and other colorful vegetables. The natural flavors of the ingredients are brought out to the fullest.

"Four kinds of indulgent pizza"
By reheating pre-made pizza, you can restore its freshly baked aroma, and by keeping it warm on an induction cooktop, you can enjoy it piping hot down to the last slice.

A damp evening after a rain shower. The daytime rain has washed over the forest trees, making the deep green shine even more vividly. A pleasant breeze slowly blows through the crisp air, and the birdsong gradually gives way to the sounds of insects as dusk falls. We raise a glass of sparkling wine in a toast.

Chocolat relaxed comfortably in my arms, and that day, in addition to her homemade meal, she was treated to a bite of duck as a reward. Watching her happily savor the meal, I truly felt the happiest moment of all: enjoying a trip with the whole family. The evening sky turned a clear blue, and its beautiful appearance seemed to gently promise sunny weather the next day.

The flames in the fire pit flicker gently, adding a touch of elegance to the peaceful night. There's no need to worry about being seen by others or feeling rushed. While a lavish dinner at the hotel restaurant is certainly appealing, the luxury of arranging your favorite dishes however you like and enjoying a leisurely meal while gazing at the forest scenery is something only Forest Villa DOG can offer.

Of course, we respectfully clean up the facilities and terrace we used, leaving it even more beautiful than when we arrived. Such thoughtfulness is an important courtesy in passing on this wonderful place to future generations. Forest Villa DOG offers the comfort of a hotel stay, the freedom of living in a villa, and time with your beloved dog. It fulfills all of these desires. Spending the sunset undisturbed, while gazing at the same scenery as your cherished family, will be an unforgettable and irreplaceable moment during this trip.
