NEMU RESORT-5- in Shima, Mie Prefecture: An eastern observation deck overlooking Ago Bay with its floating pearl rafts and the rising sun.

Nestled in the rich natural environment of Ise-Shima National ParkNEMU RESORTIf the weather is good during your stay, there is a special spot with a spectacular morning view that I would like you to visit at least once. In the early morning, when the surroundings are still shrouded in silence, leave "Forest Villa DOG" and take a private land car to "Eastern Observation Deck."

Driving along the forest path, breathing in the crisp, clear air unique to early morning, is a special experience in itself. The trees, having absorbed plenty of rain during the night, are a deep, rich green, shining with even greater brilliance. We park the car and get out just before our destination.

From this point onward, the area is off-limits to road vehicles, so we will proceed through the forest on foot. It is a nature-rich walking trail surrounded by trees, but after rain, fallen leaves and wet ground can make it slippery. We recommend walking slowly and carefully, paying attention to your footing.

As I slowly made my way along the tracks leading into the forest, the only sounds I could hear were the chirping of small birds and the gentle rustling of the wind through the trees. Leaves glistened with raindrops and shimmered, and the pale pink mimosa blossoms, a symbol of early summer, swayed in the breeze. The forest air was so crisp and clean that I couldn't help but stop and take a deep breath.

As we ventured deeper into the forest, Ago Bay began to come into view through the trees.

A magnificent landscape unfolds before you as you approach Mazaki Island.

From here, continue about 180 meters further to the left to reach the "Eastern Observation Deck."

"Eastern Observation Deck"

As the eastern sky begins to faintly change color, Ago Bay is enveloped in the morning stillness. Depending on the season, the rising sun over the sea paints the bay in a golden hue, and this mystical sight is a special reward reserved only for those who get up early.

To the left is the Goza Peninsula, in the distance to the right is the Shima Pearl Bridge, and straight ahead are Mazaki Island and its lighthouse. In front of them, pearl rafts, symbolizing Ago Bay, the home of pearls, float quietly.

Pearl rafts float in a regular pattern on the calm sea, creating a tranquil landscape unique to Ise-Shima that stretches as far as the eye can see.

The sky gradually began to be tinged with the colors of dawn, changing its appearance moment by moment. This trip took place in the middle of the rainy season. Although it had passed, we were prepared for bad weather due to the typhoon, but we were surprisingly blessed with good weather during our stay. On the morning of the second day, gentle sunlight streamed in through the gaps in the clouds.

The sound of fishing boat engines drifts in the distance. A refreshing breeze blows through the forest. Birdsong fills the air. In a world almost devoid of artificial sounds, listening intently makes you feel as if you are enveloped in the music played by nature itself.

The scenery is something you can only experience when you're traveling. The peaceful morning hours became one of the most cherished memories of this trip. It's the beautiful morning scenery of Ise-Shima that only early risers can witness.

When you visit "NEMU RESORT," be sure to get up a little early and head to the "Eastern Observation Deck." There, you'll find breathtaking scenery created by nature that photos simply cannot capture.
