Hamamatsu city center, Kajimachi, behind Mizuho BankOzawa Building III3rd floor"Yakiniku House Yanagisawa"san,
We are particular about the meat we serve, and our specially selected Wagyu beef is characterized by its fine texture, delicate flavor, and clean aftertaste.Raised in ShizuokaUse only "".
Because they purchase whole animals, this is a high-quality yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant where you can enjoy not only common cuts but also rare and valuable cuts.
It's conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from Hamamatsu Station, making it easily accessible even from further away!

In designated farms within Shizuoka Prefecture, they focus on Japanese Black female cattle, using original feed that brings out their unique characteristics and employing standardized feeding management.
Carefully and lovinglyPremium Wagyu Beef, Shizuoka-grown" is being raised.
Here, we offer the "Premium Wagyu Beef, Shizuoka-grownOnly female cows with excellent flavor are carefully selected.
It is characterized by its fine texture, tender flesh, sweetness, and refined flavor that melts in your mouth.
To allow you to enjoy the balance of the meat's savory flavor and the sweet, melt-in-your-mouth marbling, the meat isI deliberately chose A4 grade. They are using it.
Furthermore, to ensure the best possible quality, they cut the meat only after receiving an order!

The restaurant has counter seating, which is unusual for a yakiniku restaurant.
The restaurant is small and intimate, with 8 counter seats and 12 seats at tables and in semi-private rooms, for a total of 20 seats.
Always bustlingYanagisawaMr.Reservation requiredis.
The restaurant was already fully booked on this day as well,
It seems they receive a lot of inquiries on the day itself, to the point where the shop owner has to repeatedly turn people away with a heavy heart.
If possible, we recommend making a reservation in advance.

"draft beer"

When it comes to yakiniku (Japanese BBQ), beer is a must! Let's start with a toast with draft beer!

IMG_7288

"Pickled cabbage"

I'll have some cabbage tossed in a coleslaw-like dressing as a palate cleanser.
Apparently, they don't have the kimchi that's a staple at yakiniku restaurants here, so they serve this instead.
The cabbage still has a nice texture, and it's very delicious!

IMG_7285

We offer four types of yakiniku sauces: soy sauce-based, garlic soy sauce-based, rock salt, and wasabi, so you can choose according to your preference.

IMG_7292

"Kashira"

Kashira refers to the part of a cow's neck.
From the shop owner:There are some tendons. They offered it to me saying, "It's tough," but I didn't mind the stringy texture at all♪

IMG_7297

First, use the beef fat provided on the table to grease the meat.
Place the pork cheek on top, quickly grill both sides, and first enjoy it with rock salt.
It's of high quality, incredibly tender, bursting with flavor, and the more you chew, the deeper the taste becomes!

IMG_7287

"Premium Beef Tongue"

Reservation requiredPremium Beef Tongueis.
It has a nice thickness and a beautiful pink color, and it's a high-quality cut from near the base of the tongue, rather than the tip or base.
This is also lightly grilled and served with a squeeze of lemon.
With its beautiful marbling, tenderness, and overflowing flavor, this is a top-quality beef tongue!
Beef tongue is one of my favorite foods, but this is even more delicious than the beef tongue from Sendai!

IMG_7295

Sweet potato shochu

After the beer, I'll have my favorite sweet potato shochu.
Here, we have a wide selection of sake that pairs well with yakiniku (Japanese BBQ), and we highly recommend it!

IMG_7299

"Kainomi"

A part of the rib, located near the tenderloin.
It's very tender, with just the right amount of fat, allowing you to savor the true flavor of beef.
It is believed to have been given this name because of its shell-like shape.
This is an extremely rare cut of meat, as only one pair of blocks can be obtained from a single cow, making it an exquisite choice for yakiniku (Japanese barbecue)!

IMG_7301

"Green onions and bell peppers"

Let's take a short break and have some vegetables.
Enjoy the savory sweetness of the green onions and the texture and slight bitterness of the bell peppers!

IMG_7302

"vein"

From the shop owner:Would you like to try it?" and what they offered me was a vein, which I was trying for the first time.
The large veins have a delightfully crunchy texture that's addictive!

IMG_7304

"Harami"

The part of the diaphragm muscle.
The part that is in contact with the lumbar vertebrae”"Sagari"”It is called and is very delicious.
Although it's classified as offal, it has a texture similar to lean meat, is tender, and is rich in fat, offering a deep, flavorful taste.

IMG_7311

Beef curry

To finish off, we'll have the popular beef curry and vegetable curry made by the yakiniku restaurant.
Ceylon curry, which is a soup-like curry made with broth extracted from beef bones,
It uses no wheat flour at all, making it healthy, light, and easy on the stomach.
It seems that the blend of 22 different spices helps to break down excess fat from the meat.
The beef is slow-cooked until tender, allowing you to fully enjoy its rich flavor.

IMG_7310

"Vegetable Curry"

Similar to beef curry, Ceylon curry is a soup-like curry made with broth extracted from beef bones.
This is a light curry made with 22 different spices and contains no wheat flour whatsoever.
Because the sweetness of the vegetables is brought out more than the beef, it tastes milder♪

IMG_7307

"Curry condiments"

The curry comes with fried onions, salted squid, cucumber achar (a type of pickle), and raisins as condiments.
I often see fried onions and raisins, but this is my first time trying salted squid!
This also provides a nice accent to the light curry, making for a very delicious combination and a satisfying way to finish the meal!

IMG_7313

"Easy-to-drink vegetable juice"

Finally, they serve a very easy-to-drink vegetable juice.
It seems to contain celery and spinach, but I didn't detect any bitterness from the vegetables at all.
It has a strong lemon flavor, making it refreshing and deliciously easy to drink.
The shop owner, still only 37 years old, is dedicated and hardworking, providing attentive customer service and clear explanations.
The staff members, bustling about in the lively store, provide excellent service.
Savor small portions of high-quality meat and enjoy delicious drinks.
This might be the first time I've ever been this satisfied at a yakiniku (Japanese barbecue) restaurant.
The older you get, the more important high-quality meat becomes for building a healthy body.
It's not expensive at all; it's the perfect place to enjoy small portions of high-quality meat at a reasonable price!
It's easy to see why it's so popular and difficult to get a reservation.
I would definitely like to visit again♪
