● Yasushi Ichihara (drums)
Born in 1950. While attending Waseda University, he studied under George Otsuka. After being a member of the university's Modern Jazz Club, he began his professional career.
I traveled to the United States with the members of BROWNRICE in January 1975. I participated in Engelbert Humperden's North and South American tour and other events.
He is active in a wide range of fields, including studio music, recording film and commercial music, and live performances.
●Shigeo Fukuda (pf)
Born in 1957. Originally from Maebashi City. Began playing classical piano at a young age. While attending university, he aspired to play jazz piano.
He studied under Fumio Karashima. In 1998, he released his long-awaited leader album, featuring Ron Carter and Joe Chambers.
Recorded in New York with a piano trio. Known for his superb tone and sense of rhythm, he is highly respected by fellow musicians.
● Yasuto Mori (b)
Born in Tokyo in 1952. Began playing the double bass while attending Aoyama Gakuin High School. Started playing jazz in Tokyo while attending university.
He began playing music, then moved to Sweden in 1981 and started performing mainly in Scandinavia. He performs in everything from duos to big bands.
He gained a solid reputation as a bassist, and was employed by musicians such as Stan Getz and Toots Thielemans.
