A trip from Taipei Station to Sun Moon Lake, a resort area surrounded by nature, via Taichung Station by high-speed rail.

In my travelogue from my trip to Taiwan in July, I wrote for the first time,Sun Moon LakeWe will be going to "[destination]".
Sun Moon LakeIt is the largest lake in Taiwan, located almost in the center of the island, in Nantou County.
Surrounded by towering mountains, this resort area is full of nature and offers breathtakingly beautiful, almost fantastical scenery.
Sun Moon LakeTo,Taipei StationFrom there, I boarded the Shinkansen.
It takes about 50 minutes to reach TaiwanTaichung High-Speed Rail StationArrived,
It's located about an hour away by taxi from there.

Chinese-style palaceIt features a unique design that mimics [something], making it eye-catching, impactful, and exuding a sense of style.

Currently, this station building is for conventional lines.Taiwan Railways Administration Line (commonly known as TRA)Beginning,

The number of users per day is approximately400,000 peopleIt has reached [a certain size], making it the largest in Taiwan.
Here,Shinkansen, trains, and MRTIt is currently in operation.
The building features a six-story atrium, creating an open and impressive atmosphere.
A skylight is installed at the back, allowing natural light to stream in from the ceiling, creating a comfortable space.

High-speed rail tickets can be purchased at ticket windows and vending machines at each high-speed rail station, or online or at convenience stores.
Reservations and ticket purchases are available, and you can buy them up to 15 days before your departure date!

A train journey while gazing at the tranquil scenery outside the window.
In Taiwan, the air conditioning temperature on high-speed trains is often set low during the summer.
I recommend bringing a jacket with you!

Taichung City enjoys a mild climate throughout the year, with an average annual temperature of 23 degrees Celsius and an annual rainfall of 1,700 mm.
It is also known as the city least affected by typhoons due to its geographical features.
Furthermore, its convenient location allows for easy access to Taipei and Kaohsiung in about an hour via the Shinkansen.
It's also a very popular city!

They plan to develop sightseeing tour packages in both Japan and Taiwan in the future.
The agreement includes mutual dissemination of tourism information and the promotion of activities that take advantage of the lake's attractions, such as cycling, ropeways, and sightseeing boats.
The aim is to increase the number of people participating in exchanges by promoting collaboration in individual fields and private sector exchanges.

I feel a connection to this place and I'm very happy about it!
