For our first dinner, we went to "Mix Gourmet Lancheng Buffet Buffet Restaurant," an all-day dining restaurant!
This is one of Yilan's largest buffet restaurants, offering a wide variety of international cuisine, from Asian dishes using seasonal ingredients to Western dishes and even Japanese cuisine!
Compared to last time, the latest machines have been newly introduced, so Marketing Communications Manager Guo Yingshan (Mavis Kuo) and the front desk staffZhang JingxianI was introduced by Jack Chang!
The first is the Zumex, a fresh-squeezing juicer that can handle whole oranges and is used in over 90 countries worldwide! Headquartered in Valencia, Spain, this machine is simple yet adorable to use, and can handle a large quantity of whole oranges with the peel on. With just the press of a button, it can produce a glass of fresh orange juice in about 8 seconds! This freshly squeezed, juicy orange juice is loved by people of all ages!
Secondly, we've introduced the latest commercial machine from Nespresso, the "AGUILA 420"! With 12 different flavors, you can enjoy freshly brewed, authentic coffee to your liking!
Speaking of great things about the drinks here, guess what! You can enjoy unlimited ice-cold canned beer and shochu cocktails from the refrigerator, with a full lineup of classic beers including Taiwanese Beer, Corona, Heineken, Carlsberg, Budweiser, and even Japanese Asahi and Ichiban Shibori!
As it's a hotel with a high occupancy rate, they always source fresh ingredients, and all the elaborate dishes are delicious, with so many options that you'll be spoiled for choice!
"Taiwan Beer (台灣啤酒), Whelk"
Taiwanese beer (台灣啤酒) is light and refreshing, like drinking water!
If we had some sweet and savory simmered whelk with this, we could have an endless drinking session! (lol)
"Salt-baked white fish, shumai, stir-fried greens, and jellyfish salad"
A huge white fish, over 30cm long, is steamed and baked in a salt crust until moist and tender. The saltiness is just right, and when you squeeze some lemon over it, the flesh becomes incredibly soft and melts in your mouth—it's absolutely delicious!
"Roast beef, steamed vegetables"
The roast beef, prepared as a huge chunk of meat, is sliced right before serving, resulting in a moist and juicy texture that intensifies with every bite!
"Rolled sushi, temari sushi, inari sushi"
A wide variety of sushi is available, offering a colorful and enjoyable experience!
"Healthy hand-rolled sushi without rice"
Healthy hand-rolled sushi, made without rice and filled with plenty of vegetables and your favorite ingredients wrapped in seaweed, is also very popular!

Enjoy freshly fried tempura, with perfectly cooked, plump shrimp, eggplant, bell peppers, and more, seasoned with rock salt!
Beef noodle soup (without broth)
When you think of Taiwan, you think of beef noodle soup! The way the broth is made and the flavor of the soup vary from shop to shop, but this beef noodle soup is highly recommended because the thick noodles have a nice chewy texture, the beef is cooked until it's incredibly tender, and the seasoning is outstanding!
"Taiwanese Ramen"
The Taiwanese ramen was a welcome way to finish the meal; the soup, infused with the delicious flavor of minced meat, was so good that I devoured it all!

Enjoy a variety of treats in mini sizes, including freshly baked egg tarts, colorful macarons, cheesecake, chocolate tarts, Mont Blanc, mango pudding, and more! And of course, pair them with delicious coffee brewed with a Nespresso machine!
I can't recall ever enjoying a buffet restaurant so leisurely that I stayed until closing time!
Everything I tried at "Mix Gourmet Lancheng Budget Restaurant" was so delicious! I highly recommend it!
