ドリンクの作り方は至ってシンプルで、種を取り除いたゴーヤを、ジューサーを使って果汁を搾り出し、
蜂蜜を加えシェイクしたら「蜂蜜苦瓜原汁」65TWD(日本円にしておよそ240円)の出来上がり!
水は一切加えない100%ゴーヤの原汁。
希望によっては他の果物や野菜の果汁を加えることも出来、ミックスさせたほうが、ゴーヤの苦味が軽減されます。

交差点角にあったこちらのお店も列を成しており、人気のようです。
加熱滷味(ジャーロゥ ルーウェイ)」とは台湾式の煮物で、
材料をその場で選び、出汁に入れて煮込んで味付けする料理で、日本でいうところのスパイシー風味のおでんのような煮物。
八角などのスパイスを使用されているため、独特な香りが漂います。
実は八角がかなり苦手なわたし達は、台湾で唯一この匂いが苦手だったりします。
喰わず嫌いはしたくないので、いつか克服してみようと思います(笑)

先程紹介した「滷味(ルーウェイ)」を扱う老舗の「老天禄滷味」は観光客に大人気です。
60年の歴史があり、醤油や秘伝の調味料でコトコト長時間煮込んだ台湾のおつまみを販売しています。
台湾の人たちは皆大好きだという「滷味(ルーウェイ)」。

Ximendingof"映画街」の歴史は、1935年の台湾博覧会に始まります。
当時、台湾の経済発展は戦前のピークに達しており、そこから娯楽業が発展しはじめていったのです。
台湾劇場(現・中国戯院)、国際館(現・萬年商業ビル)、
大世界館と公会堂(現・中山堂)の4つの大型劇場が設立され、既にあった4つを加えると、計8つの映画館を運営。
1961年にXimendingの娯楽業はピークを迎え、
特に武昌街には映画館が集中しており、名実ともに「映画街」となっており人気です。
