Nestled in the rich natural environment of Ise-Shima National ParkNEMU RESORTThe second day began with a visit to Shima Mediterranean Village in the morning, and after returning to the resort, we toured the park in a land car and took leisurely strolls through the forest and on the beach. Before we knew it, we had fully enjoyed the nature of Ise-Shima from morning till dusk. Feeling pleasantly tired,Forest Villa DOGWe spent the evening there, and decided not to pack any more plans, instead relaxing on the terrace.

When you light a fire in the fire pit, the air in the forest takes on a completely different character than it does during the day.

That evening, I planned to spend a peaceful night sipping wine, with just a few of my favorite things laid out. The breeze rustling through the trees, the cool chirping of insects, the distant sounds of birdsong—listening to the background music of nature while slowly opening my favorite wine was the perfect way for an adult summer evening.

What was laid out on the table was a very casual "snack dinner."

"Garlic and herb cream cheese asparagus canapés"
I spread the garlic and herb cream cheese I brought with me onto ten-grain crackers and added the asparagus from the previous night to make canapés. The light texture of the fragrant ten-grain crackers combined with the rich, herb-infused cream cheese makes for a perfect pairing with wine. Adding cherry tomatoes and prosciutto completes a dish that's easy to make but adds a little extra richness to an evening while traveling.

Clam chowder
The frozen clam chowder only needs to be heated. We brought our own induction cooktop and Staub pot, but there are also areas on the villa grounds with ice makers and microwaves, which are convenient for heating up food.

"Three types of salami"
Three types of salami are arranged on a plate and served with fresh sprouts. The savory flavor and just the right amount of saltiness of the salami, combined with the crisp texture of the sprouts, create a delightful contrast and make it an excellent pairing with wine.

"Two kinds of olives," "Smoked duck and cheese"
Black and green olives are served with smoked duck and cheese in a wine glass. Serving it in a glass adds a refreshing touch to the table, making it the perfect dish for a grown-up evening on the terrace.

"Three kinds of sweets to enjoy all to yourself"
After the meal, as a dessert,Eikodo FI brought along "Luxurious Rum Raisin," "Luxurious Orange," and "Pecan Nut Chocolate" from the "Solo Sweets" series. With a glass of wine in hand, I slowly enjoyed the quiet night in the forest, savoring each one little by little depending on my mood.

Without checking the clock or turning on the TV, I simply enjoyed the passage of time, and as the sky turned a deep indigo, a special reward awaited me: a beautiful moonlit night. A brilliant full moon hung beyond the forest, its light softly illuminating the trees. It was a fantastical world, completely different from the daytime scenery. The shadows of the trees swaying in the wind and the moonlight intertwined, creating a beauty like a scene from a movie. It was a night in a private villa, undisturbed by anyone, an experience rarely found on hotel trips. It became an unforgettable summer night, savored slowly in the quiet forest.
