"misato kitchen" is located next to Handa Park in Handayama, a quiet residential area in Higashi Ward, Hamamatsu City.Misato Kitchen)"fart!

This restaurant is one of my husband's favorites, and it's run by the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Kanehara, who serve dishes they truly believe are delicious, driven by their desire to offer delicious food regardless of genre. They offer affordable lunch sets during the day and a wide variety of à la carte dishes that can be enjoyed with drinks in the evening.

The interior is a warm and inviting space filled with the warmth of wood, and you can see the kitchen from across the single-slab counter. The colorful Western-style tiles and wallpaper create a bright and comfortable atmosphere! I usually visit during lunchtime, so the atmosphere at night, which I visited for the first time, was different from the daytime, with a soft atmosphere created by the lighting!

On this day, before leaving Mikatahara, we decided to go and say goodbye to the Kanehara couple, and also had a farewell dinner with our good friend, French chef Shigeaki Onoue, who lives nearby! Since it was a Friday on the weekend, the restaurant was fully booked!

We brought our own wine and toasted with Aneri Brut Prosecco, an Italian sparkling wine!

[misato kitchen Dinner à la carte Menu]
① Pickled celery: 480 yen
Pickled celery, with every part of the stem and leaves cut, is perfectly pickled, retaining its crisp texture while boasting a fragrant celery aroma enhanced by bonito flakes, making it the perfect accompaniment to drinks!

② Steamed chicken gizzards in sake: 680 yen
The chicken gizzards, simmered until tender with plenty of aromatic vegetables, have a great texture, and the soup is so delicious you'll want to drink it all up!
With hot pot season just around the corner, I'm starting to crave warm, soupy dishes like these!

③ Octopus Carpaccio 980 yen
In addition to our regular menu, we also have daily specials!
This is one of them, and as octopus lovers, we ordered it without hesitation!
Fresh octopus is plump and tender, infused with the aroma of dill, and seasoned with the pleasant saltiness of herb salt and capers, making it a perfect chilled appetizer!

④ "Omelet with whitebait from Maisaka and mozzarella" 1,000 yen
This omelet, generously filled with shirasu (whitebait) from Maisaka, has a fluffy, slightly undercooked texture, and the mozzarella cheese inside is wonderfully gooey! Garnished with arugula for added color!

⑤ "My Chicken (Balsamic Sauce)" 1,200 yen
The menu includes "My Chicken" and "My Pork," which clearly reflects the two people's love for delicious food (lol).
The chicken, with its crispy, fragrant skin, is juicy on the inside and served with balsamic sauce and a squeeze of lemon!

I got this when I went back to Toyama this year.Says Farm & WineryPair it with "Cabernet Sauvignon 2016"!
Grown in the unique climate of Himi, this Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a deep, concentrated flavor of perfectly ripe fruit. While it has a soft mouthfeel, it also leaves a lasting, satisfying finish! We are delighted that Mr. and Mrs. Kanehara and Mr. Onoue have given this Japanese wine, especially one from Toyama, such high praise!

⑥ Penne Gorgonzola: 1,300 yen
Rich and flavorful penne with Gorgonzola cheese!

⑦ Roast Chicken Curry 1,250 yen
To finish off, we ordered two dishes that are absolutely essential when talking about this restaurant: curry and hamburg steak!
This curry, packed with finely chopped onions, is incredibly healthy as it uses no butter or flour whatsoever, and is finished with our original blend of spices!
The chicken is grilled to perfection, is juicy, and the vegetables are cooked separately and added on top, resulting in a beautifully colorful dish!
The curry has just the right amount of spiciness, and it's an exquisite curry that's flavorful even without butter or flour!

⑧ Hamburg steak with demi-glace sauce: 1,100 yen
This hamburger steak, made with Shizuoka's premium wagyu beef "Shizuoka Sodachi" and Hamamatsu's premium pork, is served on a sizzling hot plate and topped with plenty of vegetables. It's plump and juicy, with meat juices overflowing from the inside, and has a soft texture and is full of flavor! The rice is red rice!
The rich demi-glace sauce and soft-boiled egg combine to create a flavor that is arguably the best among all the hamburgers in Hamamatsu! I can't get enough of it, no matter when I eat it!

The very enjoyable dinner party ended with a commemorative photo of everyone, including the husband, Kazushi, his wife, Yoko, and Mr. Onoue!
I'm sad that you'll be moving to Lake Sanaru in October, which means you'll be a little further away, but I'll definitely use your services again when I'm in this area!
