There's a story that water made from rosemary, a herb renowned for its all-purpose properties, is also known as "the water of youth." In the 14th century, Queen Elizabeth of Hungary, whose health deteriorated due to old age after she turned 70, used a therapeutic water extracted by steeping rosemary and lime in alcohol. She reportedly regained her youth and health remarkably, and at the age of 72, she received a marriage proposal from a Polish prince in his twenties. Nowadays, with its widespread use in cosmetics and other products, many people are aware of rosemary's anti-aging effects. Today, I've received some rosemary from the Matsui sisters, who are both salon clients and friends, so let's pick a little and use it in a delicious dinner!

"Rosemary-sautéed chicken breast with orange sauce"
The recipe is simple. Cut one chicken breast open like a book, rub in one packet of Chiyo no Ichiban vegetable bouillon Kasumi, put it in a Ziploc bag with olive oil and a suitable amount of rosemary, massage it for a few minutes, then let it sit for about an hour. In the meantime, boil some potatoes in salted water. Add one sliced clove of garlic to a pan flavored with olive oil, pour in the marinated chicken breast and rosemary, and sauté slowly, skin-side down. At the same time, lightly sauté the boiled potatoes in the pan as well. Once the skin side of the chicken breast is browned, flip it over, add a little white wine, cover, and steam-cook. Remove the tender chicken breast and crispy potatoes, add homemade orange confiture to the remaining juices and simmer, then add a squeeze of lemon juice at the end to complete the sauce. The moist chicken breast is served with a refreshing sauce that combines the acidity and sweetness of orange.

"Consommé soup with new onions and crispy bacon"
When I get delicious seasonal vegetables at the Mikatahara Farmers Market, it makes me so happy and cooking becomes a joy. Today, I got my hands on some new onions, so I quickly made a melt-in-your-mouth soup in a pressure cooker. Since I used a whole new onion, it doesn't fall apart when I serve it, and it looks really cute.

"Walnut Campagne"
I freeze any bread I can't eat at once, which is really convenient. But I wish there was a good bakery within walking distance of my house. Oh, and from August, lade's office will be moving to Viola Tamachi in the city center! I'm sure I'll be even more afraid of the scales now that I can't resist the temptation of all the delicious shops in the city center (lol).
