After enjoying both hot and cold soba noodles at the handmade soba restaurant "Soba-ya Omori," we had zenzai (sweet red bean soup) for dessert.

Nestled in the residential area of Nakajima is the soba noodle shop "Soba-ya Omori." The owner, Mr. Omori, still has that familiar smile visible through the noren (curtain). Although I've tried to visit several times recently, I've unfortunately encountered temporary closures, so it's been quite a while since my last visit...

Along the street in Sumiyoshi, near Seirei Hamamatsu Hospital, there's a shop with a noren (traditional Japanese curtain) displaying the three hiragana characters "Kokoro" (心). It's an okonomiyaki restaurant run by owner Tatsuya Oishi, which opened six years ago. I found this shop relatively soon after moving to Hamamatsu and it piqued my interest...

Antique Cafe Road, an antique shop in Kakegawa, offers a tranquil escape where you can experience the healing power of clear streams and lush trees.

Turn left at the traffic light east of Kotonomama Hachimangu Shrine, a famous power spot in Kakegawa. Follow the signs towards Awagatake, pass Hisaka Elementary School on your right, then turn right towards Awagatake. Further on, turn right again towards Ohira and climb the opposite slope, and you'll find it all alone...
