Since I devoured a hearty lunch, let's do some stretching and swimming afterward to aid digestion!
The swimming pool maintains a comfortable water temperature of 28℃, and at 25m long and 1.4m deep, it offers ample space for hotel guests and adjacent residence guests to use 24 hours a day. A mini pool for small children is also available, so the whole family can enjoy swimming anytime!
After checking in at the front desk, we split into men's and women's groups and headed to the locker rooms!
In addition to individual shower rooms and powder rooms, the facility also boasts dry and steam saunas, making it well-equipped!
The pool deck is lined with poolside beds, so after a swim you can lie down on a bed and relax!
As dusk fell, I visited the "Club Lounge" on the second floor, which is exclusively for guests on the club floor, as they were offering an evening cocktail hour (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm)!
During cocktail hour, light snacks are also available, so toast with sparkling wine along with appetizers such as ham, cheese, and olives!
Why does the first sip of alcohol taste so good after working up a sweat?
I'm happy that if you order it, the staff will make cocktails using a shaker just like a bartender!
In the evening, we only had a light meal, and headed out to the outdoor promenade we had visited in the morning to enjoy the night view around the hotel!
In Shanghai, the illuminations of the buildings are magnificent, and the neon lights reflecting on the riverbanks are incredibly beautiful, making the passing boats look glamorous as well!
Back at the hotel, I enjoyed a nightcap at the Club Lounge!
If you want to enjoy authentic cocktails, we also recommend heading to "Qi Bar" on the first floor, in addition to the club lounge!
The gorgeous interior exudes a moody atmosphere created by crystal lighting!
Here, in a cool open bar setting, you can enjoy a variety of cocktails crafted by talented bartenders who have studied mixology in New York!
Tomorrow morning will be my last day in Shanghai, so I'll be flying back to Japan!
Although it was a short stay, I am filled with the feeling that a stay at a first-class hotel is truly healing for both mind and body!
I would like to express my gratitude to General Manager Clemens Hoerth and all the staff, and I will spend my last night soaking up the memories of Shanghai!
