Can Roca, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant, has steadily achieved top rankings since being included in the world's 50 best restaurants eight years ago, securing second place in both 2011 and 2012. The eldest of the three brothers, Joan, serves as the head chef; Josep, despite his reserved personality, boasts passionate service as a sommelier; and the youngest, Jordi, is renowned as an unconventional, rule-breaking pastry chef. The three brothers excel in their respective fields, and their collaborative efforts with the restaurant team, combined with their passion, magically create a variety of magnificent dishes that far exceed guests' expectations, earning them the top spot this year. From Japan, the French restaurant "NARISAWA" in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, was ranked 20th, the highest ranking in Asia, while the Japanese restaurant "Ryugin" in Roppongi, Tokyo, came in 22nd, with both improving their rankings from the previous year.
The restaurant moved to its current location in 2007, and the interior of the building is simple yet modern. Automatic doors are installed at the entrance to the kitchen, and the space is maintained to accommodate 30 chefs working at once. Surprisingly, there is even a room where the dishes are conceived.

Appearing in the final round of the British show "MasterChef," the restaurant's fame has skyrocketed, and it now receives a constant stream of reservations from all over the world. For a three-Michelin-starred restaurant, a lunch course priced at around 155 euros seems very reasonable. Once again, another restaurant has been added to my list of places to visit, enriching my enjoyment of life.
