Masakatsu Takagi is an artist who creates videos using self-shot footage and animation, as well as music using piano and computers, instruments he has long been familiar with. In 2009, he was selected as one of "100 Japanese People the World Respects" by Newsweek Japan, and he is an artist who has attracted attention worldwide. He continues to engage in diverse activities that are not limited to any particular field, such as releasing CDs and DVDs from domestic and international labels, holding exhibitions in museums, and giving concerts around the world. It has been more than 10 years since I first heard his music, but I still often find myself listening to his melodies, which continue to evolve without losing their appeal.

Those who know him would say this: His musical style underwent a significant transformation after his marriage to Saeko, the painter who also designed his album covers. And having also experienced divorce, he has become even more sensitive, and he has begun to paint a new worldview, making his future something to look forward to. I would like to introduce one of his songs that I listen to and love dearly. The gentle, poignant melody will surely touch your heart. Ophelia/masakatsu Takagi
