On the second night, we had a fun Tokyo dinner with our Taiwanese friend Chen Lawrence and everyone from the Porsche Club, at a restaurant in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo.Sushi FujimoriI visited "[location]!"
Chef Yasuhiro Fujimori, with 23 years of experience in the sushi world, trained in Tokyo and opened his own restaurant, "Sushi Fujimori," nine years ago with his wife, Noriko!
Mr. and Mrs. Fujimori visited Taipei in May of this year and stayed at a first-class hotel.The Sherwood TaipeiA four-day limited Collaboration Fair is being held at the Japanese restaurant "KOUMA" in [location]! I heard that the fair was a great success, and we had a wonderful time chatting about Taiwan!
Sushi Fujimori specializes in only one option: the "Omakase Course," so that's what we'll be having! The appetizer is a gently fragrant "simmered tomato" in bonito broth, and the nigiri starts with the chef's signature choice: "medium fatty tuna nigiri"! The melt-in-your-mouth medium fatty tuna instantly opens the stomach!
The course menu, which features sushi prepared by the chef and a la carte dishes made by his wife in a well-paced manner, was created out of the wife's thoughtfulness to "prevent customers from getting cold from just eating sushi!"
While enjoying the Edomae-style sushi, which conveyed the warmth and kindness of the chef with his carefree, cheerful smile, we also enjoyed comforting, wholesome side dishes in between, paired with sake (Isojiman → Katsukoma → Mikotsuru) for a truly satisfying sushi dinner!
The final nigiri is "Toro-Taku," a hand-rolled sushi made with chopped fatty tuna and pickled radish! The crispness of the seaweed and the aroma of shiso leaves, the smoothness of the melting fatty tuna, and the crunchiness of the chopped pickled radish all match perfectly!
Mr. and Mrs. Fujimori and I coincidentally share the same birth year, 1973, which created a wonderful sense of connection, and we were able to enjoy our meal in a very pleasant atmosphere!
