We had a lively conversation about Mr. Watanabe's achievements in his younger days, his eventful life, and even some bittersweet memories with the chairman that he can only talk about now. The chairman's usual outspoken talk was in full swing, making for a very enjoyable meal!
Daily Special Set Meal A: Chicken with Aromatic Sauce - 900 yen
From the four daily lunch specials – meat, fish, and udon (hot or cold) – my husband and I chose our favorite, chicken. The chicken was fried until tender and then coated in a sweet and sour sauce.
The side dishes included in the A lunch set are "salmon sashimi, deep-fried eggplant marinated in sauce, and fusilli short pasta with mayonnaise salad."
One of the great things about set meals at Japanese restaurants is being able to enjoy a variety of flavors in small bowls. This set meal offers a good balance, allowing you to enjoy three different types of dishes: raw food, summer vegetables, and salad.
