If you imagine the name, you'll see two miniature dachshunds happily running around on the beach as you sit in the waiting area right after entering the shop.UjiharaThe chef's black-and-white photographs are striking, and the fact that the cutlery rests on the tables are designed like miniature dachshunds suggests he's an avid dog lover. It's a small but charming restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's always crowded, so reservations are highly recommended!

The interior is a pleasant space filled with sunlight, and the window seats are bench seats with cushions in calming colors, creating a relaxing and gentle atmosphere with warm pendant lighting. There are 14 seats. Cucciolo is usually full and bustling even during weekday lunch hours, but I was lucky to be able to get a table by calling just beforehand on a whim! An assortment of appetizers, allowing you to enjoy a little bit of each of the 10 elaborate dishes.NanaChan carefully explains each dish one by one. Starting from the top left, there's Italian prosciutto, salami, homemade pickles, homemade ham made from the loin of Ryujin pork from Okuhama Lake, marinated grilled squid, polenta with white corn sauce and stewed minced red squid tentacles, bagna cauda sauce with Brussels sprouts and Ayame Yuki (fresh turnips), duck rillettes with Pecorino cheese and bread, marinated smoked salmon with celery salad, polpettine (small meatballs in Italian home cooking) made with Miyazaki beef, Ryujin pork, quail and quail cartilage, and frittata made with eggs. This assortment is filled with the chef's passion for using high-quality ingredients, and everything is truly delicious♪

Coffee tastes even better when enjoyed in such a meaningful cup.
