Bistro de Amuse is a casual French restaurant located in Motoshiro-cho, behind Viola Tamachi. It's on the 2nd floor of the Ars Building, which also houses restaurants like the Japanese restaurant Hannari. As you go up the stairs, you'll see the interior through the glass windows, making it a casual French restaurant that's easy to drop into. This restaurant relocated from Iwata City and opened in June 2007, and is now in its 6th year in Hamamatsu!

The restaurant has 6 seats at the bar counter and 12 seats at tables. It's a rather small space, but with Chagall paintings on the walls, soft lighting, and jazz music playing in the background, it has a calm and relaxed atmosphere, making it possible to enjoy a quiet meal even during lunchtime. The whole leg of prosciutto on the counter is featured on the à la carte menu in the evening. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced, with a course meal of appetizer, soup, main course (meat or fish), bread or rice, and dessert for 1,000 yen. There is also a chef's special beef stew set, simmered slowly for 2,100 yen. This time, as usual, I'll have the great value 1,000 yen lunch!

This day was a lunch to celebrate the marriage of Motoji (Yamauchi Motoshi) and Yoshi (Uchiyama Yoshimi), who got married in July. I had been wondering what to get them as a gift for a long time, but since I was going to Italy this time, I thought it would be nice to get something that couldn't be obtained in Japan, so I went to a general store near the Trevi Fountain in Rome.Chiurato"A vessel made by " who encases real fruits, chili peppers, wheat, and leaves in acrylic resin.RICCARDO MARZIWe decided on this. That's because I've always seen Motoji, who has a lot of cooking experience, and Yoshi, who is learning the ropes of being a bride every day, posting delicious-looking and happy meals on Facebook, and I thought that these dishes would be perfect for them to decorate their tables. I was so happy to hear Motoji say, "I'll make dishes that are worthy of these dishes!" Yoshi, I'm looking forward to seeing your posts♪

The salmon is seared perfectly on the outside and kept moist on the inside, served with sautéed shredded potatoes and bacon. Fresh dill and chervil herbs add aroma and color.

Today's dessert: Vanilla ice cream with whipped cream.

You can add drinks such as coffee or tea for an extra 300 yen. It's run by a husband and wife, and the wife's service is smart and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Best of all, this course is only 1,000 yen (tax included)! Motoji, Yoshi, let's enjoy another delicious meal together soon!
