Newly opened in Hamamatsu/Sanarudai! "Kitchen Ritta" offers colorful one-plate lunches.

Along White Street in Sanarudai,2023/8/18 (Fri)A newly opened bistro-style Western restaurantKitchen Ritta"fart.

This was originally "Kuroneko ItalianThis is the place where " was located, but Matsushiro Town (Bistro Kuroneko)The restaurant had moved to a new location, leaving the space vacant for a while. It's quite close to my house and on my usual route, so I could see the construction progressing and was eagerly awaiting the opening of the new restaurant.

Kitchen RittaThe name of the shop is not pronounced "Ritta," but rather comes from the word "Rita," which means "altruism." "Altruism" means "to act in the best interests of others; to wish for the happiness of others more than one's own; to sacrifice oneself and dedicate oneself to others," and the owner chose this name with the hope of opening the shop with this sentiment in mind.

The interior of the shop is decorated in soft colors such as blue, green, and earth tones, creating a lovely cafe-like atmosphere. Dried flowers are placed throughout the shop, from the ceiling to the walls, creating a relaxing space.

With 4 counter seats, 16 table seats, and sofa seats accommodating 4-6 people, for a total of 26 seats, the restaurant offers ample space for relaxation. The fact that you can see the kitchen in action adds to the lively atmosphere, which is a nice touch.

I visited during lunchtime on this day, but in the evening, they offer a selection of wines from various countries (red, white, and sparkling) and Hamamatsu craft beers, along with a variety of dishes to accompany the drinks. So, it seems like it would be fun to visit during dinner time and enjoy a casual drink at the counter.

Since the restaurant has only recently opened, they are currently offering a limited lunch menu. However, the one-plate style meal (with salad, soup, and rice) for ¥1,650 (tax included) features a well-balanced selection of chicken, pork, and beef. A set drink can be added to the lunch menu for an additional ¥110 (tax included), making it a great deal.

Chicken: "Fugaku White Chicken with Sweet and Spicy Tartar Sauce"

Pork: "Hamana 3-chome's Tonteki"

Beef: "Soft hamburger made with 100g beef (100g TP3g)"

We happened to live nearby, so we were able to find out about the opening early, but since there's no information posted online yet, I think it will gradually become more well-known. On the day we went, we saw friends and acquaintances of the owner couple coming in for lunch with congratulatory gifts, which was very heartwarming. We are also very happy to see new businesses opening in our neighborhood!

There are also seats to the left of the entrance, offering a different atmosphere with a pure white space.

Further inside, we have sofa seating available for 4 to 6 people. If you are coming with small children, it would be a good idea to reserve this seating area.

After some twists and turns during the COVID-19 pandemic, she decided to open her own business. It's a small, family-run shop, and we'd love to continue supporting her in the future!

The dried flowers that fill the shop with a gentle atmosphere are mostly handmade by the owner's wife as a hobby. There are also many rare dried flowers and nuts on display, providing a healing space where customers can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

One-plate lunches are great for a quick and easy meal, even when you're short on time, making them a lifesaver for people in the middle of work.

"Today's Soup"

The soup included in the set meal that day was minestrone, a hearty soup packed with the delicious flavors of vegetables and bacon.

Chicken: "Fugaku White Chicken with Sweet and Spicy Tartar Sauce"
(Includes salad, soup, and rice) ¥1,650 (tax included)

”"Fugaku Hakukei" refers to a brand of chicken from Shizuoka Prefecture that is fed rice, resulting in juicy meat with less of the typical chicken odor and a rich, satisfying flavor. The salad is colorful and substantial, featuring cabbage, mizuna, and radishes, and is served with a truffle oil dressing. It is accompanied by purple cabbage pickles, carrot salad, sweet potatoes, and tender pearl onions, ensuring a well-balanced selection of vegetables. The rice is a healthy and nutritious mix of white rice and other grains.

”The thigh meat of "Fugaku White Chicken" is cooked to be plump and juicy, and topped with a double layer of sweet and spicy sauce and a crisp onion tartar sauce.

Beef "Soft hamburger made with 100g beef (100g TP3g)"
(Includes salad, soup, and rice) ¥1,650 (tax included)

The meaty hamburger steak, made with 100g of beef, is about the same size as the rice ball hamburger steak from "Sumiyaki Restaurant Sawayaka," a restaurant well-known to all Shizuoka residents. The rice and salad are served as side dishes in the same way.

The thick, plump, and juicy hamburger steak has a wonderful aroma, and when you cut into it, the juices gush out. Made with 100% beef, it's incredibly satisfying. The sauce is a light and refreshing creamy onion sauce.

"Set drink" +¥110 (tax included)

For an additional ¥110 with lunch, you can choose from a selection of drinks: "Coffee (Hot & Ice)", "Tea (Hot & Ice)", orange juice, or oolong tea. We ordered "Iced Coffee" and "Orange Juice". Taking advantage of the owner's wife's kind words, "Please take your time," we relaxed and enjoyed our after-meal drinks.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch while being soothed by the warm and loving couple who make you feel at ease. Lunch is a casual one-plate meal, and dinner can be enjoyed like a bistro with a glass of wine.Kitchen RittaThe evening menu includes pasta and other dishes in addition to the main courses, so you can enjoy wine pairings. I hope you'll come and enjoy a counter dinner sometime!
