This restaurant offers authentic dim sum prepared by a first-class Cantonese dim sum chef, as well as Yunnan's famous rice noodles (mixian). It's located just a few minutes' walk from the station, on the 5th floor of the Y3 Building, one street east of Hirokoji in Itaya-machi. It's fun to enjoy delicious dim sum and drinks with friends, isn't it?

Take the elevator up to the 5th floor, and this is the entrance to Bingxia Li. On this day, after finishing a Riedel wine glass seminar, we went there for a celebratory meeting and enjoyed some delicious dim sum!

The restaurant has 45 seats in total, with tables seating four people each. It can accommodate up to 80 people for standing receptions. Currently, lunch service is only available on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). While you can reserve a set course for dinner at Hyoubakori, you can also enjoy a variety of dim sum dishes à la carte. Each dish is very reasonably priced, so we ordered a little bit of everything we liked!

The perfectly salty pickled mustard greens and the aroma of shredded green onions make this a great accompaniment to drinks!

"Masciarelli Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 2012"Italian white wine, 3,000 yen.
The color is a slightly greenish straw yellow, and it has aromas of apple, apricot, and iris, with a fruity taste. This white wine consistently receives high marks for its value every year!

"Stir-fried saury with fermented black beans"
They prepared tender, in-season Pacific saury in a stir-fry with fermented black beans, resulting in a dish with a unique aroma and rich flavor. It's a deep, complex taste that's hard to replicate at home. And of course, it pairs perfectly with drinks!

"Hyōbakori Harihari Salad"
This refreshing salad features thickly sliced daikon radish combined with mizuna greens and dried sardines. Enjoy the delightful texture of the daikon!

"5 Chive Buns" 580 yen
These chive dumplings, made with high-quality pork, are very filling, crispy on the outside and juicy and flavorful on the inside. Many people would say this is the first thing you should order when you come to Hyoubakori! It's incredibly delicious!

"Cantonese Special Fried Dumplings (5 pieces)" 600 yen
This is one of the dim sum dishes that this highly skilled dim sum chef is proud of. The chewy wrapper encases a generous amount of filling, and the hot soup that spills out is fragrant and delicious! I have a sensitive tongue, but if possible, I recommend enjoying this dish while it's still piping hot, along with the soup that bursts out from the inside♪

"Pork shumai dumplings with XO sauce (3 pieces)" 580 yen
Enjoy the sweet flavor of the premium pork while savoring its meaty texture. The homemade XO sauce adds a delicious depth of flavor!

"Xiao Long Bao (3 pieces)" 480 yen
Be careful as the soup might splatter, but the chewy texture combined with the piping hot soup is incredibly delicious! If you don't like hot food, take a bite on the spoon and savor the soup little by little. Be sure to watch out for splashes!

"Spicy Shrimp with Chili Peppers" 1,280 yen
It looks incredibly spicy, doesn't it?! (laughs) But it's not as spicy as it looks. Rather, it has a strong aroma and umami flavor, and the molted shrimp are tender and delicious. You can't eat the chili peppers themselves, of course, but the sauce that surrounds them is delicious, so it's a bit unladylike, but it's great to nibble on the chili peppers while drinking!

"Fujian Province Black Oolong Tea" 580 yen
This dark, glossy oolong tea, fermented and roasted for an extended period, is highly aromatic, sweet, and refreshing. Please wait a little while with the lid on until the tea leaves open. Once the color develops, slightly shift the lid while drinking to prevent tea leaves from getting into your mouth and enjoy the tea. They'll refill your hot water as many times as you like, so you can enjoy a second and third cup as well. Although we were comfortably full, we decided to have one more! So we headed to a wine bar for a second round♪ Thank you for the treat, Aoshima-san!「Is it okay to eat this? Chili oil」I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished product!
