A specialized trading company for confectionery ingredientsHiraide Shoten Co., Ltd." is a specialty store for confectionery and bread ingredients operated by "HIRAIDE Homemade Store」。
This is a specialty shop located in Kamoe, Naka-ku, Hamamatsu City, selling ingredients for confectionery, bread, and other sweets! The operating company, Hiraide Shoten, has been a specialized trading company for confectionery and bread raw materials, packaging, and machinery since its founding in 1949 (Showa 24). They operate closely with the local community, mainly in Hamamatsu, but also from Toyohashi in the west to Fuji and Fujinomiya in the east. To liven up the confectionery industry, they are active in a wide range of activities, including not only selling confectionery ingredients, but also selling and maintaining confectionery and bread machinery, supporting the opening of new bakeries, and promoting local production and consumption, including supporting the branding of local agricultural products.

Hiraide Shoten, the company that established the retail division "Ant Betty Club" in 1988 (Showa 63), renamed and rebranded it as "HIRAIDE Homemade Store" on April 2, 2014. The store has been reborn with a bright orange color as its image color and a measuring spoon logo as its trademark!

The store is very easy to browse, with products displayed on shelves categorized by type. This time of year, many people are busy making cherry blossom-themed sweets, and right inside the entrance, there's a booth stocked with all the ingredients needed for cherry blossom sweets, such as Domyoji rice flour, cherry blossom bean paste, and cherry blossom-colored liqueur!

This booth, which also serves to promote lemons from Hamamatsu, is eye-catching with its vibrant lemon-yellow color scheme!
HIRAIDE Homemade Store, which is celebrating its 8th anniversary this spring since its reopening, is holding an "8th Anniversary Appreciation Festival" from Monday, April 4th to Saturday, April 9th, offering discounts on limited-edition items and great benefits based on your purchase amount!

As a Thanksgiving discount, flour is 101 TP3 TOFF OFF, making strong flour and weak flour great deals! With rumors circulating about rising prices for imported wheat starting in April, this discount campaign is very welcome news for those who bake bread regularly!

Furthermore, customers who spend over 1,000 yen during the campaign period will receive a free Hamamatsu-grown lemon! It will be useful for making sweets such as lemon cakes and jams! Hiraide Shoten is mindful of SDGs and develops and sells confectionery ingredients that utilize local Hamamatsu-grown lemons.

The shelves at the back are lined with packaging and wrapping materials by size, making them convenient for gifts and other occasions!

They have a wide variety of cookie cutters, and the animal series, including dogs, cats, rabbits, butterflies, horses, elephants, penguins, and ducks, is so tempting you'll want to collect them all!

"Opia Organic Non-Alcoholic Wine" ¥1,620
This is the world's first organically certified non-alcoholic wine-flavored beverage! Made using organically grown grapes and produced without fermentation, it has achieved organic certification, is low in calories and healthy, contains no preservatives, and boasts a natural flavor with a rich fruitiness—an innovative method that preserves the taste! This is a great drink for those who don't like alcohol, allowing them to enjoy the feeling of drinking wine! I've tried it before, and its pale yellow color is perfect for springtime budding, and it has a fresh aroma and taste reminiscent of white flowers and green fruits, giving it a rich, wine-like feel. It was delicious! As a refreshing grape juice, it's perfect with a breakfast plate, and is also recommended for those who don't like alcohol or for drivers!

The store also has a kitchen at the back where they develop new products and sell their homemade goods. The shelves are lined with jams made with plenty of seasonal fruits, and currently they are selling limited-edition "Sakura" jam, as well as "Kakegawa Kiwi," "Earl Grey," and "Shizuoka Strawberry" jams!

In the recipe corner, various recipes are clearly presented with images, and you are free to take them home!

My go-to chocolate corner! They have a wide variety, from organic to rare cacao, and you can even choose the cacao content. High-cacao chocolate is rich in polyphenols and is recommended for health and beauty!
Now, the purpose of this is thisOfficial InstagramI recently entered the "Valentine's Day Photo Contest," which is held annually, and I received the wonderful news that my homemade chocolates won first place out of many entries! Thankfully, prizes were prepared for the first to third place winners, so I came to present them today! (Thank you)

Every year for Valentine's Day, I give my husband homemade chocolates, but as the day approaches, I rack my brain wondering, "What should I make this year?" It wouldn't be interesting to make the same thing again, but I don't have unlimited time to spend on it, so I need something that's easy to make, looks good, and most importantly, tastes delicious! With that in mind, I visit this shop in February to buy the ingredients!

What caught my eye was the crown-shaped chocolate mold made of Italian silicone, which is currently displayed in the back but was on display at the front of the store during Valentine's Week!

"EASY CHOCO Made in Italy CHOCO CROWN
/ Silikomart
As the name suggests, it's easy! This recipe is fantastic because you can easily make cute ganache by simply preparing the ingredients, melting and mixing the chocolate, pouring it into a mold, and chilling it in the refrigerator!

"Couverture Chocolate Raw Chocolate Crown"
Dish: Frank Lloyd Wright Imperial 26cm Tart Plate
coffee:Mameya Cafe, a coffee bean shop in Fukuroi that roasts its own beans."Amareiro Bourbon"
Raw Chocolate [Ingredients] (Makes 11 pieces)
• Couverture chocolate (40g dark, 40g sweet) • 10g unsalted butter • 30ml heavy cream • Whiskey (to taste)
- Cocoa powder (appropriate amount) - Edible gold leaf (appropriate amount for decoration)
This is an easy recipe: simply melt and mix the ingredients, pour into a silicone mold, and let it set in the refrigerator for a few hours. You can also add flavor by adding tea leaves or herbs when warming the heavy cream. This time, I used whiskey-flavored cream for my husband. I also added edible gold leaf for a touch of elegance. Once the ganache has set in the refrigerator, remove it from the silicone mold and let it sit for a few minutes before eating. With one bite, you'll have a smooth, rich, and sophisticated ganache that melts in your mouth!

When the staff presented me with the first-place prize, they said, "The staff unanimously agreed that your work was the best! The dish was lovely too!" I'm a little embarrassed because it's such a simple recipe, but I hope that because it's so easy, many people will try making it!

1st place prize: Cooking utensil "Bruno Hot Sandwich Maker / Double / Red Color"
The prize I received is the popular cooking appliance, the "Bruno Hot Sandwich Maker/Double/Red"! There are many hot sandwich recipes, but my favorite is the dessert "Anko Butter Cream Cheese Sandwich". Spread plenty of flavorful butter on the bread, place a moderately sweet red bean paste in the center, and top with a slice of "Hokkaido Delicious Cream Cheese (Sliced) Processed Cheese". The addition of the cream cheese's acidity makes this hot sandwich absolutely delicious! Hiraide-san, I will cherish and use it! Thank you!
