Unfortunately, it was raining that morning, and since we were traveling with our dog, Chocolat, outdoor sightseeing was difficult, leaving us with a gap in our schedule before checking into the inn. Since I couldn't go very far in the pouring rain, I decided to kill time at a nearby cafe!
When I searched for a pet-friendly cafe in Atami, I found that among the few options available, "88tees CAFE" was within walking distance of my inn, so I decided to check it out!
The owners greeted us with smiles and seemed very welcoming to Chocolat, which put us at ease.
If the weather is fine, there's no problem, but if you encounter bad weather while traveling, pet-friendly shops are truly invaluable!

The interior features a natural wood theme with rattan furniture, and the walls are decorated with items that evoke Hawaii, such as surfboards and T-shirts!
The window seats offer an open and airy space with floor-to-ceiling windows, and since they are located in front of Atami Sun Beach, you can enjoy views of the Atami Sea Fireworks Festival in the summer, and if the weather is good, you can enjoy a truly spectacular location!
88tees, a popular brand in Hawaii, is also a favorite among celebrities, and the walls are lined with photos taken there as a memento!

They had Hawaiian-themed menu items like garlic shrimp, loco moco, acai bowls, and pancakes, but I opted for "French fries" to go with my beer.
Despite the continuing rain, I was able to relax for about an hour!
However, since we still have plenty of time before check-in, I'd like to go cafe-hopping to some pet-friendly cafes!
