「グアヤボ農園（グァテマラ）」
「グアヤボ農園（グァテマラ）」200g 980円
原産国は中南米のグァテマラ。農園名は“プラン・デル・グアヤボ農園”。首都グァテマラシティから車で走ること約4時間、ホンジュラスとの国境に近いニューオリエンテ地方、人口2,000人余りの小さな村“クエスタ・デル・グアヤボ”の山麓にあります。農園の標高は1,400～1,600、畑というより山って感じのかなり急勾配な農園で機械を使うことはできず、すべて手作業。この豆は“パカマラ”という品種で、ここ数年人気となり品薄な品種で、特徴は豆が非常に大きいこと。小さな手挽きミルだと挽けない恐れがあるそうです。オススメ焙煎は中煎りより少し浅め。甘く透明感のある香りは絶品！
この日は、新しくバイトで入ったお洒落で爽やかなイケメンYutaro Kunoくんがグアヤボ農園を美味しく淹れてくれました！ゆっくりとその珈琲の特性を活かし、更に美味しく味わえるように丁寧にドリップしてくれていたのがとても印象的です。アメリカやカナダなどの海外経験を経て、帰国後に「いずれは自分の珈琲屋を出したい」と、大きな夢を掲げ、目下Mameya Cafeさんで修行の日々を送られています。ハマちゃんから多くを学び、明美さんにお母さんのように叱咤激励されながらも（笑）、いつか彼のお店で珈琲を味わえる日が訪れるのが楽しみです！ハマちゃん、明美さん、久野くん、また顔出しに行きますね～♪
