I went to the "Sakura Festival" being held from March 25th (Sun) to April 8th (Sun), 2018, at Hamamatsu Castle Park, the castle where Tokugawa Ieyasu resided for 17 years in his youth and which became the starting point of the 300-year Edo Shogunate! The festival features mainly Somei Yoshino cherry trees, but also weeping cherry trees, mountain cherry trees...
