Two artists who are active in Toyama Prefecture but are also active on the world stage.
「Shimoo DesignI'm traveling with wooden tableware by Kazuhiko Shimoo & Saori Shimoo and tinware by Syouryu/Yoshinori Shimatani!
We also introduced our work to Dam Kao, the Executive Chef of "Promisedland," who collaborated with us on some beautiful Chinese cuisine!
As a memento, we presented GM Chen Meiting with a "Syouryu" "Suzugami" (a type of decorative paper).
They showed great interest in the vessel, which can change shape in so many ways!
Here, at set times, a mini live performance begins at each table, creating a lively atmosphere with cheerful Spanish music!
Furthermore, they entertained us by singing "Nada Sōsō" in Japanese!
For the appetizers, which allow you to enjoy a little bit of Hualien's abundant fresh ingredients, we collaborated with Executive Chef Dam Kao.
The food was beautifully arranged on "KAZARIDAI" by "Shimoo Design"!
"KAZARIDAI" is great for collaborations with Japanese food, but it also goes well with Chinese food!
The "Fuyou series" also pairs well with fish and meat dishes, and its natural wood grain complements delicate Chinese cuisine perfectly!
The main dish of the course, which features delicious ingredients from Hualien, is sea bream prepared using a salt-crusted cooking method traditional to the indigenous people.
Boasting a plump, moist, and exquisitely smooth texture, the juicy finish is truly impressive!
"Syouryu's" "Suzugami" is a sweet treat that is an original creation of this hotel.
I enjoyed the combination of "Konnyaku Jelly" and "Honey Cake"♪ Thank you, Dam san♪
