A peaceful time was passing by.Izu Nagaoka Onsen Sanyo-soOur stay at [Hotel Name] is finally coming to an end. Let's stop by "Lounge Aoi," which we also visited last time, to choose some souvenirs to remember our trip by. Lounge Aoi, like the new building, is a circular building designed by architect Togo Murano. Its soft, curving form blends quietly into the surrounding greenery, and it gently welcomes visitors.

In addition to a cafe and gift shop, the lounge also features the boutique "NOUBEAU," and the refined elegance characteristic of Sanyoso quietly permeates the building's gently curving architecture.

The shop offers souvenirs unique to Izu, such as products made with real wasabi from Izu-Amagi and salted kelp made with "Sennen Ida Salt." I noticed some different products than last time, so I asked the staff for recommendations on popular items and selected several, including some as souvenirs for my friends.

Taking the time to pick up local products while traveling is also part of the enjoyment of the trip.

Every time I look at the items I brought back with me, I'm sure it will remind me of my summer stay.

After finishing our souvenir shopping, we headed to the annex "Fujiuraha" where Chocolat was waiting.

This time, in the room where I spent time with Chocolat, I finished packing my bags for the last time, and Chocolat got ready, putting on her dress for going out. When I put the dress on her little body, even the usual Chocolat looked a little more dressed up. "Okay, let's go now," I said, and we left the annex.

For our last moments before check-out, we put Chocolat in her pet stroller and went back to the Japanese garden once more.

In spring, the garden is enveloped in soft floral colors, but in summer, it transforms into a vibrant landscape of deep green.

It's strange how the scenery that seemed so fresh during my first spring visit now feels somehow familiar by the time I leave after this summer stay. Looking back, I wonder how many times I walked through this garden. The time I spent walking in the morning light. The garden as it grew quieter in the twilight. And the time I spent with Chocolat, surrounded by the deep green of summer. Each and every scene remains in my heart as a memory of this stay.

After completing the check-out procedures in the front lobby, it was finally time to leave Sanyoso.

This summer's visit to Sanyo-so was to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. Following our anniversary trip in the spring, being able to visit again in a different season has become a precious memory for us. The time we spent embraced by the vast gardens. The relaxing moments we enjoyed in the "Sakae" room of "Fujiuraha," soothing in the hot springs and sharing chocolates. The meals that allowed us to savor the bounty of the season. And the comfortable hospitality that the staff quietly provided. The more I look back, the more each and every one of those moments quietly comes back to my heart. The time we spent at Sanyo-so was a time to step away from everyday life and rediscover our own pace. When we visit again, different scenery and moments await us.
To everyone at Sanyo-so, thank you again for another wonderful time.
