The Omuro-ryu school of flower arrangement, whose founder was Emperor Uda (Emperor Kanpyo), the 59th emperor and first head priest of Ninna-ji Temple in Kyoto (a World Heritage Site), is holding its annual "National Flower Arrangement Competition Dedicated to the Founder," which will be its 101st year this year.
