Along the street in Sumiyoshi, near Seirei Hamamatsu Hospital, there's a shop with a noren (traditional Japanese curtain) displaying the three hiragana characters "Kokoro." It opened in April 2007 and is celebrating its 7th anniversary this year, 2014. Since coming to Hamamatsu, for me, "Kokoro is the go-to place for okonomiyaki"...

It's an okonomiyaki restaurant run by owner Tatsuya Oishi, which opened seven years ago. I found this shop relatively soon after moving to Hamamatsu and it piqued my interest...
