The importance of understanding personal responsibility

Everyone has experiences in their lives where things went as planned and others where they failed. While most people attribute successes to their own efforts, failures are often blamed on others. In such situations, why not try thinking about things this way?

"All responsibility lies with me."

This is the most important mindset when it comes to self-development. Self-growth is impossible for those who blame others or their circumstances for their failures. The crucial point is to understand that the environment and circumstances you currently find yourself in are entirely your own creations. We are all given 24 hours in a day. While we are almost identical at birth, various differences emerge over time. Why? Because we think differently. Naturally, different ways of thinking lead to different actions. If everyone thought the same, the world would be filled with only similar people. However, the world is full of diverse individuals. These differences arise from choices made at various points in life.

There are happy people and unhappy people in the world.

Are happy people simply lucky?
Are unfortunate people simply unlucky?

Luck plays a small part, but I don't think it's the whole story. Happy people choose to be happy, while unhappy people have, somewhere along the way, chosen to be unhappy. The concept of personal responsibility is very important in order to avoid deliberately choosing unhappiness.

There is always one person who appears at the scene of unpleasant events that happen to you in life. That person is yourself. In other words, the real culprit causing the incident is yourself. For some reason, people tend to be lenient with themselves and forget their own existence. As long as you blame others and your surroundings, wondering why so many unpleasant things happen to you, the same unpleasant events will keep happening over and over, and nothing in your life will change. Try blaming yourself for everything you've been blaming others or your surroundings for. Therein lies the key to personal growth. What's important is not who is to blame or what is wrong. What's important is not letting the same unpleasant incident happen to you again. You cannot directly change other people or your surroundings. The only person you can directly change is yourself.

"All responsibility lies with me."

The path you choose to take from here on out is your own responsibility. I believe understanding personal responsibility is extremely important.
