Standing on a hill overlooking Lake Ashi,Nippon House Hotel & Resort Co., Ltd.Among the "Hotel Mori no Kaze" group operated by "", it is known as a particularly high-quality adult hot spring resort.Hotel Shiki no Yakata Hakone AshinokoThe hotel features 30 guest rooms, each with a different style and atmosphere. While cherishing Japanese aesthetics, it also pursues modern comfort and privacy, designed so that each guest can enjoy their stay in their own way.

The room we stayed in this time was Room 107, a "Western-style twin room (41 square meters)," a room exclusively for guests traveling with their dogs. It is a special room designed for guests to "stay as if they were living there" with their dogs. The door to the room is quietly adorned with Hakone's traditional marquetry technique, and the geometric beauty created by the delicate wood grain elevates an ordinary door into a "work of art by a craftsman," making the moment you step into the room a special experience.

The room can be unlocked smartly with the two card keys provided, and the door has an automatic locking mechanism, so you can stay with peace of mind even if you are traveling with your dog. From the moment you enter the room, you can feel the thoughtful design that prioritizes privacy and comfort.

A full-length mirror, large enough to show your entire body, is installed directly opposite the entrance to each guest room. This thoughtful touch is appreciated not only by guests who want to tidy themselves up before going out, but also by those who want to enjoy dressing up while traveling.

On top of the shoe box, you'll find a selection of dog-related items and grooming supplies, allowing you to clean your dog's paws before entering the room after a day out. The thoughtful attention to detail from the inn, ensuring a comfortable stay for you and your dog, is evident in every aspect.

Next to the washroom, you'll find a Nespresso coffee maker, green tea, roasted green tea, Earl Grey and apple tea bags, teacups, coffee cups, and other utensils, allowing you to relax and unwind in your room.

The shelves hold glasses and an ice bucket, and the refrigerator is stored on the right.

There are two bottles of mineral water in the refrigerator.

The guest rooms are decorated with the warmth of wood and calming colors, creating the ultimate relaxing experience. The warm texture of the wood and the subtly placed interior decor will gently soothe the mind and body of each guest.

From amidst the iridescent clouds, the majestic Mount Fuji reveals its magnificent form.

From your room, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Ashi through the large windows. In the morning, the lake is enveloped in white mist; at noon, its surface sparkles; and at sunset, the mountains are bathed in crimson hues. This luxurious location allows you to enjoy the ever-changing seasons of Hakone, like a picture scroll, right from the comfort of your room. You can also relax on the sofa in the living room, gazing at the scenery, and savor the lingering feeling after your bath or enjoy a cup of coffee.

While dogs are not allowed on the beds inside the house or in the bathroom, they are otherwise free to roam and enjoy a comfortable stay.

Particularly noteworthy are the private open-air baths with simple sulfurous hot spring water in all 30 rooms. Each room's private open-air bath features a different type of bathtub, such as a cypress wood bath or a ceramic bath. The cypress bath envelops you in the warmth of the wood, while the ceramic bath reflects the softness of the water's surface. Each bath has a different character, and each room is designed to create a "personalized bathing experience" for each guest. Our room has a cypress wood bath that gives off a soft impression.

We provide a pet cage (90cm wide x 60cm deep x 60cm high) for your dog, as well as dog supplies such as a food bowl, toilet sheets, adhesive tape, and a trash can (Pad Locker). (Small dogs weighing 6kg or less are allowed, up to two dogs per room.)

This is a truly "dog-friendly" accommodation where you can enjoy time with your beloved family in the same space, with every detail taken into consideration.
