At "Reminiscence," a French restaurant located along Shirakawa Park Higashihonmachi Street, close to the lush green Shirakawa Park in Nagoya, the first dessert course in their menu features "Tenshioto Muskmelon," a new brand of muskmelon from Shizuoka Prefecture, produced by "Kageyama Melon Farm," for a limited time!

This restaurant was opened on July 23, 2015, the 30th birthday of young chef Masaki Kuzuhara, who trained at top restaurants in both the east and west, under Chef Shuzo Kishida of "Quintessence" in the east and Chef Hajime Yoneda of "Hajime" in the west. It quickly gained popularity and has been awarded two Michelin stars and five toques by Gault & Millau, making it one of Nagoya's most renowned restaurants.

The round, scooped-out melon ball is topped with shaved frozen melon that melts in your mouth like powder snow, and the refreshing taste is enhanced by the aroma of edible flowers and mint, and the cool tonic jelly. The texture of the brown sugar cookie adds to the rich and sweet aftertaste, and the touch of lime cream with just the right amount of acidity enhances the sweetness of the Tenshioto muskmelon—a truly sophisticated combination. The smooth chocolate cream melon, along with the elegant aroma of matcha that subtly tickles the nose, comes together lightly, leaving you immersed in a feeling of pure bliss.
With each bite, different flavors overlap, creating an endless array of deliciousness—a fascinating mechanism that fully embodies the "reminiscence" aspect of Reminiscence's name.
