新緑の眩しい4月の終わりと秋風の爽やかな10月に袋井の法多山で開催され、来場者数をゆうに3000人ほど集客するコトコト市というイベントをあなたはご存知だろうか？2007年の春を始めとし、年2回のペースで静岡県西部の雑貨店や飲食店を中心に様々なジャンルの作家たちが集う1日だけのマーケットがコトコト市である。今回はそのイベントを立ち上げ、コトコト市の主催者である2人にインタビューをすることにした。To begin with、コトコト市が生まれた経緯は一体どのようなことがキッカケだったのだろう。今から2006年10月にさかのぼる掛川での一軒家での話。さのみちよさんが結婚後に新居を構えたことを機に、好きなものを集めた雑貨屋「コレム」を自宅でOPENさせて間もなく、地元民でないことから横のつながりもあまりなく仲間も少ない中で手探りな状態で突き進んでいた2007年1月のある日。みちよさんが偶然手にした雑誌に載っていた東京のイベント。　それを見て「こんな素敵なイベントがあったらいいな」・・・と思ったのがキッカケになる。イベントに対する思いが膨らむ中、ふと自宅の窓から望めるたくさんの桜の木を浮かべ、「桜の咲く季節にあのイベントのようなことを皆でワイワイとやれたらいいのにな♪」と願うように。さっそく同じ自宅兼ショップの先駆けである「アンジュール」の松浦さやかさんに相談したところ意気投合。とんとん拍子に話が進み、20日ほどの間に9店舗の顔ぶれも決まり、早々にイベントミーティングが行われていたという。当初は桜の季節に開催することを念頭に、桜市というネーミングが考えられたようだが、桜のイメージが強いと季節もその時期に限られたイベントになってしまうことを懸念し、Sewing machine with low、お鍋をコトコト･･･という丁寧に作られる手仕事の音をイメージし、コトコトという響きが良く、覚えやすいよね、という話になり2人の間でコトコト市は生まれた。そして記念すべき「第1回コトコト市」が開催されたのは、わずか2ヶ月という短い準備期間を経て、3月末の桜が満開のうららかな春コレム。 1回目を終えてみて彼女たちが思ったことは、充実感と楽しかったという率直な感情の後に「あぁ、あの人にも声をかければ良かったね」、「こんな風にできればもっといいよね」と諸々の反省点もあったことや、実際に来場してくれたお客様たちの反響も良かったこともあり、終わって間もなくして「次、いつやろうか！」と自然に次回開催の話で盛り上がった。Original、イベントとしては「手作り作家さんの発表の場にしたい」、「安売りするのではなく、手仕事の価値、手仕事作品の相場を知ってほしい」・・・そんな思いでスタートした第1回。 At that time、イベントとして話題を呼んだキッカケの中に、実は当サイトの代表であり、コトコト市の撮影スタッフとして活躍するカケスタ★たかひろのブログ紹介も大きく関わっていたことを思い出話のように笑い合い、話に拍車をかける彼女たち。カケスタと2人のつながりは、アンジュールの設計デザインを携わった小澤建築設計事務所から、さやかさんを紹介された経緯があるという。掛川を拠点に、人が人をつなぎ、関係をつなぎ、情報がまた人をつなげ、今日このつながりがあるのだろう。 2Times、3回と回数を重ね、イベント内容が大きくなるにつれ個々に思うところや問題点、要望も多くなり「駐車場が少ない」、「スペースが足りない」、「近隣の方々への迷惑･･･」などを考慮するようになり、その問題をクリアしなければイベント自体の存続はおろかコレムの営業にも支障をきたす恐れがあると伺えた。そんな危うい状況にまで発展する中で彼女たちの思いは、自然や緑が多く、体育館や古い小学校の跡地みたいに天候に左右されない場所だったり、もしくは東京のイベントのように、どこか協力してくれるお寺はないものかと口にするようになる。その願望全てが解決できる場所が見つかるのは、まさにそんな風に思い描いていた矢先のことだったというから、彼女たちが持ち合わせる魅力の一つ、引きつけの法則でもあるように思えてならない。条件を全て満たした場所とは、いうまでもなく今も開催場所として、春と秋の年2回、コトコト市の真っ白な旗をなびかせる袋井の「法多山尊永寺」である。袋井市民であれば、誰もが一度は初詣やお参りに足を運んだ経験がおありだろうが、花より団子のわたしの記憶では、法多山＝厄除けだんごである。お堅く説明するとあらば、高野山真言宗別格本山の寺院だが、寺号の「尊永寺」よりも実際は山号の「法多山」の名で広く知られる歴史高い寺であり、厄除け観音のご利益を祈願し厄除けだんごが広まったのだろう。実際に相方に誘われ撮影協力をすることになったわたし自身も、彼女たちの人を惹き寄せるパワーと笑顔の裏に隠れた努力に魅せられた一員であることに間違いはない。その後も回を重ねる毎に、仲間が仲間を呼び、クチコミがクチコミとして広がり、今も尚増殖し続けているコトコト市は留まることを知らず、今月の29日（月）でなんと7年という歳月を経て第13回目を迎えることになる。ここまでの経緯をざっくりと聞いただけでも、彼女たちの働きがどれほど大きな結果と成果を生み出してきたことだろう。 2人は当初10回を目標にしていたが、その後も続けることに。質の高いお客様、素晴らしい仲間たち、同業者との横のつながりに恵まれたことがモチベーションを高める要素となったようだ。Above all、個人事業者同士で不安や悩みを共有し、独りでは成し得ることのない達成感を得ることができていることに有難さを感じているという。Now if you want、5回目くらいから手作り以外のモノ（古道具とか雑貨）もOKにし、少しずつ変化してきたように思う。However,、2人の思惑として「変化はOK。でもなんでもアリではない」ことを念頭に置いている。「コトコト市の雰囲気に合う」という条件で、統一感を大事にされているようだ。大きく変化したのは第8回の時のこと。「お寺でハロウィンってどうでしょうか？」とダメ元承知で住職にお伺いを立てると「いいじゃないですか！」と二つ返事でOKが出たようだ。住職の中でも枠に捕らわれることなく、可能性を秘めているコトコト市を大切に思ってのことであろう。ハロウィンムードのディスプレイ、並びにスタッフがプチ仮装という変貌を遂げた秋のコトコト市はスタッフや関係者、そして来場者の方々の中でも記憶に留まる内容に成長していた。Since、春は雑貨イベント、秋はハロウィンというスタイルに定着し、最近のコトコト市は「お客様はもちろん、出店者も、スタッフも、みんな楽しむ♪」という思いを大事にしているとにこやかに語る2人。今回のイベントの楽しみ方としては、毎回人気が高く早い時間帯で売り切れ御免となってしまっていたパン屋の新規出店数を増やし、公園内をカフェエリアとして組み立てたことや、普段は開放されていない離れのお茶室「一乗庵」を使用し、コトコト市のために結成されたCafe du junoが発信する「juno庵」と命名の予約制限定スウィーツコース￥1,500などの新たな趣向を凝らしたところにあるという。初出店6店舗を含む47店舗の個性溢れる参加店と共に、”好き”が共通な人と、同じ時間、同じ空気を楽しむコトコト市がもうじきやってくる。春風に誘われて多くの人が集い、通じ合い、楽しむこと、その日を目標に、今日も手先が器用なみちよさんは手書きでせっせとコトコト新聞を書き綴り、チクチクと音が聞こえるかのように小物作りに精を出す。最後にそんなみちよさんの姿を見て、さやかさんが一言「いつも本当にありがとね」と労いの気持ちと笑顔を添えた。この言葉がある限り、彼女たちの関係性は変わることなくコトコト市のさらなる発展を生み続けていくのだろう。第13回コトコト市開催日時：2013/4/29（月曜祝日）9:30-15:30 雨天決行開催場所：法多山尊永寺主催：コレム（さのみちよ）アンジュール（松浦さやか）※詳細はコトコト市公式HPまで。コトコト市公式WEB http://kotokotoichi.blog91.fc2.com/...
