テーブル湾の旧港を中心に再開発された、大きなショッピングモールビクトリア＆アルフレッド ウオーターフロント、Known as V&A Waterfront。19世紀の建物を再現した人気スポットのようです。Restaurant、ショップがひととこに集まり、有名な国際的ブランドから地元限定のブティックまで楽しいショップが目白押し♪ 屋内のショッピングモールだけに、雨風もしのげるので、天候の移り気な時期には有難い施設。南アフリカ最高の買い物スポットとも言われています♪ V&Aを含めウォーターフロント内には、400軒以上ある店舗に国内外のブランドが数多く出店しており、ハイグレードなブランドからアフリカの骨董品、高級宝飾品、高品質の革製品、Cosmetic、AV機器、Household goods、絵画まで何でも揃ってしまうのです♪ ケープタウンの街中にもある現地の方々が集うスーパーマーケット Pick ‘n’ Pay ピックンペイ。アフリカに原生するマルーラの果実から作った甘味の強いクリームリキュール・Amarula アマルーラと象さんが好きなフルーツの入った”アマルラチョコレート”や”ルイボスティー”などがお土産に人気だそうです♪ 見ていて楽しいフルーツの山、太陽が照り付ける国では果実もたわわに実るのでしょう。惣菜もボリューミィでどれもリーズナブル。ワインに関しては恐ろしい品数です。R30～R150（日本円300円～1,500円ほど）の物が主流のようです。とにかく、お安い！そして、安くても美味しいという素晴らしい事実！ 是非、皆さんにも南アフリカのワインを堪能していただきたいものです！ちなみにスーパーではワインの販売はしていますが、ビールの販売はしていません。ビールとワインは販売免許が異なるようで一般の酒屋でビールは購入できます。 日本食の寿司や刺身、天ぷらがヘルシーフードとして現地の方々にとても人気で、毎日行列を成しているダイニング＆バーWilloughby&Co. ウィロビー＆コー。現地の方々や日本人以外の観光客の方々がどのような日本食を食べているのか気になり入店してみることにしました（笑） こちらの店員さんがとてもキュートで親切にメニューを説明してくれました。ワインはレストランでいただいてもどれもリーズナブルです。「Boschkloof Sauvignon Blanc ボシュクルーフ ソーヴィニヨンブラン」ミニピッチャーR35（日本円350円ほど）でグラスに4杯分ぐらい注げます。Green pepper、グァバの味、バランスの良い酸味と後味の良いスッキリさが楽しめます♪ 「pickled fish & salad」R95（日本円950円ほど） マリネされた魚を揚げて甘辛いとろみのあるソースに絡めたものとサラダ。温かいものを食べたかったのですが、非常に冷たい魚で残念。お味は日本でいう大味といった感想です。 「prawn pasta」R135（日本円1,350円ほど） prawn=エビが理解できず、”What is this?”とメニューを指し尋ねると、とってもキュートな先程の店員さんが親切にも生のエビをお皿に盛って見せてくれてたので、”I see.I seee.”と大きく頷いてしまいました（笑）prawnが何者か判ったところでオーダー。甘辛いトマトクリームソースのリングイネでした。甘みが強いのでお子様向きかな♪ さて、肝心の寿司や刺身は何故食べなかったかというと･･･他の方が食べているのを見て、食べる必要性を感じなかったからです。And beams.、美味しい寿司や刺身は日本で食べるのがベストでしょう。テーブルに置かれたKIKKOMAN Soy Sauceが可愛く思えてしまいました♪ 南アフリカケープタウン旅行記の目次はこちら V&A Waterfront　ビクトリア アンド アルフレッド ウォーター フロント http://www.waterfront.co.za/...
